Thinking six weeks from now we'll have a bunch of new players. I just hope they're from this time zone.
Less than two weeks ago we were playing in the Elite 8. Two weeks before that players were hyped saying "Fill Gill" and "Go Beavers!" After all that the players take off leaving the fan base here traumatized. Speaking only for myself I doubt I will ever allow myself to trust anything a player says.

It's obviously meaningless. Hate to be cynical, but it's impossible not to be. |

Actually I'm thinking this remaining group of 5 can actually be competitive next year in the WCC IF Kelsey stays. She is clearly the best player of those remaining and her height and tenacity and experience and leadership will play well for this team in the WCC. With Coach Rueck and Aleah recruiting the portal we should be able to land some decent transfers to help the cause hopefully. At any rate it will be a new and interesting team to root for next year at a lower level of competition---Trying to remain positive during this tumultuous period! |

They can help provide a foundation for a good WCC team if Rueck can bring in 4 or 5 starting level players who are clearly better than all or nearly all of the remaining 5. Not sure if he can do that in this offseason. |

I guess time will tell, but I have a hard time buying that Schuler is a mere "backup WCC player". |

Considering that Codding was a very high level player in the WCC (averaged 14.7 PPG, 8.3 PPG, and 2.6 APG as a junior) before getting injured - I'd say that Shuler could at least be a starter. WCC is even weaker now. |
