I posted this over on the recruiting page but since most news is bad news currently, he's a little bright light for you. And while this is just one prospect that loves the Beavers, there will always be others out there. And when you start recruiting kids that love OSU and have every reason to stay, you can do Gonzaga type things here.

Well stated.
While Donovyn is an Oregon kid, I recall her interview where she stated she didn’t grow up either an Oregon or Oregon State fan. I think there’s a good chance that if Kelly Graves recruited her she would have been a duck. She’s not one of those kids who, like Sofia Bell of Starwalt, grew. up a die-hard fan of Oregon or Oregon State. She mentioned her unwavering loyalty to the Cal Stars when she was their third string PG and still stuck around, so I hoped OSU might’ve had a chance to retain her, but I also don’t blame her for following the exodus. I figured it would be an all-or-none type deal and it sounds like at the very least Timea and Talia’s decisions were made by the time they stepped off the plane.
It’ll take time to rebuild given all of these huge losses, but, assuming they stay, players like AJ, Dom, and Kelsey should be pretty good in the WCC. Fortier has clearly found talented kids who want to be at Gonzaga, so there’s no reason Rueck shouldn’t be able to do the same at OSU.
