Sort of a late notice, but Olympic gold medalists Katie Ledecky and Simone Manuel are going to be in town swimming for Stanford today vs. the Beavs. Not very often you get to see a couple of world record holders in the same pool my kids learned how to swim in.

And Jacob Pebley (a Corvallis native) just came through recently as well. Apparently the OSU swim meets at Osborne are usually open to all since the interest level is, uh, relatively low, but for the Stanford meet there are tickets and more access regulation involved.
(My son is currently involved with CHS swimming and Corvallis Aquatic Team so this is all near and dear to my heart).
