For those who enjoy speculation just for the hell of it, try this. ---------------- Talia departs OSU, thought to be headed to LA for personal reasons. Tamia reported to have filed Portal Papers, therefore she is looking (or being looked at). How's this: Timea and Talia both end up at UCLA playing for Close and her impressive NIL connections. GO BEAVS!!

Rae's broken nose might be too fresh in TVO's mind, or maybe my mind 😳

OK, since people are speculating, I think if TVO had stayed that TG wouldn't be transferring. No reference for that statement at all. Especially considering TG leaving isn't official.

I’ve always thought it was Mr. Green in the library with a lead pipe.

I’ve always thought it was Mr. Green in the library with a lead pipe. I've now played about 25 games of Clue with my daughters. It has yet to be the lead pipe. I think you're much more likely to die by the rope - although how they managed to kill someone else with a rope is beyond me. My hunch is that TVO doesn't end up in LA.

Do you have a hunch about where she will end up?

Washington State? Maybe the personal thing is not connected to Arnold going to USC but some family matter that makes her want to be closer to home and her family.
I have not a clue but that seems a possibility.

I have not a clue but that seems a possibility. I don't think she wants to play in the WCC. It might not be her primary reason for entering the portal, but I believe it is a reason. I'm basing it on the language she used in her announcement ("given the circumstances") and the fact that she posted "oof" right after the agreement to play in the WCC was announced.

Yeah, but in the house, not any open beams, etc. Chandelier is too weak. Maybe a balcony, but the lead pipe is right now man!

Solely based off social media, it looks like she’s considering Kentucky, Colorado, UCLA, and USC, probably among others.
If she wants the ball in her hands, Colorado is probably the best option. JuJu has an insanely high usage rate (higher than Clark), but I could see TVO doing well there as a secondary playmaker. Amoore will have the ball in her hands a lot at Kentucky. SEC looks pretty loaded next season with South Carolina and Texas.

From my biased perspective, if Talia moves for any basketball playing perspective (playing time, rest of team mates, style of team play, etc) that is insanity. Does anyone think that Kennedy Brown, Taylor Jones, and others can show great gains by changing teams?
She is an outstanding player who is extremly unlikely to make the WNBA, but can have a great career overseas. That is the likely outcome no matter where she concludes her college career. It is likely with the key role she plays for OSU that it would enhance her pro chances to stay another year. Playing another year with great team mates that she now has will only give her more opportunities to shine.
However, if she is moving on because of (a) family considerations-finances? illness? etc? or (b) because she knows other key elements of the team (i.e. Raegan and Timea) have already decided to move on, then those are perhaps wise choices.
However, sometimes loyalty pays off over short term gain.
Look at what Aleah gained by going the route with the Beavs, then trying the WNBA without success, and then within two years being hired as an assistant coach at OSU.
Look forward to what other blog participants share on this topic.

Usually you have to have some weapon, like say, a gun, to force somebody to put the noose over. But...we digress.
