I think the reason for the umpire conference as well as Mitch’s question after the collision at first was that the first base coach touched his player why the ball was still live. Correct?

Adley left plenty on base too. Greats look greater in the rear view. I'd have to go check but Baz is currently in the middle of the greatest offensive season by a beaver ever. He's pushing into best seasons by a college player. Where he needs to get his s%#t together is pushing too hard on the bases and fielding causing errors and undermining teammates. Travis will have the greatest college career of any player in our history. Which goes to show that none of these men are finished and polished. And this is just a college game so we shouldn't expect perfection.
I must admit that I am disappointed by his many defensive blunders. It's like my wife says: even a little league baseball player in Japan knows that it's easier for a guy coming forward to catch a fly ball than the guy running backwards. It's basic baseball.
And then he makes a play like that. f%#*. I don't know. When you try to criticize him, he astounds you.

I liked it better when the Beavs would only needed to score six runs, and have the pitching to win. It was comforting. I kind of like the feeling of knowing it's never over with this offense. Some of those terrible offense games when Hjerpe pitched a gem were heartbreaking.

This game is pissing me the f%#* off Not sure how scoring works but Hainline goes down as a sac RBI right? If he had stayed on first he would have broke 300 and saved the out.
