He's the type of coach who will give you the shirt off his back.

Did we have a shot at him at one time. Seems like his name came up during one of the opening years ago. Always liked him as a coach.

Musselman was available for awhile, but I have always heard that Oregon State could not meet his contract requirements for him to come here. In the end, we get the basketball team that we have funded for.

Personal opinion, Musselman isn't worth the drama. He's a good coach, but a major pain in the nether regions. And yes, he's a guy who will always be looking for the bigger, better deal. He reminds me a bit of Rick Pitino 35 years ago.

He reminds me a bit of Rick Pitino 35 years ago. IDK, sounds a lot like Kyle Smith, who no one calls a job-jumper. Three years at USF (Musselman was at Nevada for four), then five years at WSU, the same length of time Muss was at Arkansas. Coaches are always looking for a better job. Musselman has lifelong ties to SoCal. He went to college in San Diego. USC is a great school, where his kids can attend for free. He'll be able to live in a beach neighborhood south of campus. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.
