Bummed to see him go. Must mean Renteria held a clear advantage in the room. I had hoped to see Caleb break through next year. Caleb was a loyal and proud beaver. Very common to see him active helping to recruit to OSU. Even if we did miss out on several high profile former HS teammates of his. I am sure he won’t be the only transfer out, but hope we see our best staying.

Great kid - always involved in the program. Renteria has two years and I don't think he was going to see the mat so it's a good decision on his part if he wants to start somewhere. He will definitely be missed as a great teammate and great partner. I agree...there will be others that enter the portal, but I believe it will be those who want to be able to go somewhere to start even if that means NAIA or D2. On the other side of things it will be interesting to see who comes in as well. The portal has now changed the landscape to allow teams to recruit over your own guys each year. It's good in the sense of competition, but difficult at the same time to bring a guy in over other guys who have been there.

Updated portal list: Leaving: Stephens, Coyle, Scott, Condomitti, Zoller, & White Gaining: Harmon Unsure if any of these are big loses. Condomitti at Rutgers is interesting second east coaster to leave osu for RU, Torzano previously. White landed at a lower level as did Coyle. I’m very interested to see if OSU has anyone waiting to bring in, or if Harmon will be the only one. 125 Renteria 133 Whis 141 NASH? 149 Noah T 157 Menke or Garver? 165 MATTY if healthy or Fouret 174 Harmon 184 Trey 197 Rademacher HVY Attao Feel ok about it. Given the small class, I wonder what and if there are more dominoes to fall. Thoughts?

That looks about right to me given the current roster, with a few factors. Garver was just down at 65kg for the Open - He keeps bouncing around He could be anywhere from 141-157. CJ Hamlin has to be a factor at 157 since they went with him at the Pac-12. This may not make sense, but he cut a lot to make 157, but still looked small. He needs to establish his weight and try to get bigger. He's pretty short so I think he can fill out a little there. Menke was cutting pretty hard to make 157 as well - he looked pretty big there. Two other roster factors are Jacinto and Starren. They could be factors at 149-157. Matty is still a question mark - but having him healthy at 165 would fill out a good lineup IMO. If not, Fouret will be back one more year and I know he will work hard in the off -season. Having said all of that, I think there are a couple dominoes to fall...

Hoping those dominoes fall and we can see even more strength added to our roster. Appreciate your thoughts on Jacinto and Starren. Curious if Mower could be a factor as well. Just know he fits a similar profile as Jacinto and Starren. An aside, saw Ruchti has transferred to SOU. I know our roster losses have not made a major impact on the mat or line up. That being said, they have played a big role in rebuilding our program and culture. I remember how excited we were when they were brought in, admittedly surprised we didn’t see some break through. Wish them well and nothing but success. Go Beavs!

I am not sure what the plans are for Rademacher in terms of redshirting. If he doesn't, he is definitely the man. I was wondering if we would get a 197 grad transfer for just one year so he could redshirt. If we had to go with someone on the roster, it seems Christiansen got the starts last season apart from Justin. I would also like to see more of Vaun Halstead competing this next year.

This would be his 4th year in the program and still blocked, so go get some matches in and still stay close to home - he'll be pretty successful (Plus I'm partial to SOU - they are going to be strong at the NAIA level next year if everyone comes back)
