What is everyone thinking for a ranking tomorrow? I am personally hoping for sixth. I cannot believe that Oregon State would be ranked higher. I'm guessing they slap us to like 8. 5 on D1

I'm guessing they slap us to like 8. 5 on D1 That would match the 3 spot drop Vandy has for getting swept. LSU, OSU and Virginia were the top 10 teams that lost a series. This week is a bit dangerous for top 25 teams as there isn't many ranked match ups.

Down to #5 in the Coaches Poll and D1.
#9 in Baseball America, which is ridiculous. Being ranked behind Florida and Vandy is just stupid.
Having said that, Baseball America did note that Oregon State gave up 17 in the final game. Baseball America noted that 17 runs is the most allowed by the Beavs since the 25 to UCLA.
17 is the most runs that Oregon State gave up in eight innings since February 24, 2012, an 18-2 loss to San Diego State at Tony Gwynn Stadium.
The only other time that Oregon State gave up 17 runs in eight innings in the past 20 seasons, was the 2007 game against Arizona on April 1, 2007, a 17-14 loss (Oregon State trailed 17-8 in the ninth; however, the Beavs scored six and loaded the bases in the ninth but ran out of outs.)

And it counted as one loss. Same as if they'd lost 1-0.

No Beaver team has given up more than 13 runs in two games in the same season since 2004. On the other hand, how the Beavs are playing in May and June is far more important than how the Beavs are playing in March. We'll see.

Yea, it's as if theres a bias for those schools or something.. 🤔 D1 is very worried about their preseason accuracy lol D1 preseason #4 (LSU) just dropped 6 out of 7 games [March 23 - Apr 1]...their lone victory, being to an RPI #142 team....
