My goodness, Stanford has been awful other than Iriafen. She has 14 of their 20, midway thru Q2. At least Brink has been doing a good job bothering Crooks on the other end.

A little better. Iowa St. up 33-31 at the half. Phantom call just before the buzzer gave the Cyclones a pair of FTs for the lead.

Tied at 50 going into Q4.
I kinda had a bad feeling about this game before it started. Of course I didn't think Crooks would be shooting 2-14. But Ryan has been killing them.

Finally got some momentum, then gave it right back. Tied at 57, 6 minutes left. Stanford guards have been allergic to playing any kind of defense again Ryan. She's lit them up for 24, more than twice her average.

They went under the screen against Ryan. She buried a 3. Brilliant. She's having a great game, but the defense on her has been consistently terrible.

Brink just fouled out. Not sure why that wasn't a shooting foul but ,, Pretty sure they called it on the tie up after the shot. If not it was an extremely late whistle. |
