Both are "weird" teams... one legitimate "star" and a couple others that can have great games, and several role players. And, I'll keep my opinion on SCar... they aren't a good matchup vs ANYONE! Made NC look like a DII team. |

Watching the Colorado-Kansas State game. KSU player is inbounding the ball right at the end of the first half, notices that both Colorado bigs have their backs to her and throws the ball off one of them gets it and scores.
Great play but the official calls an on the arm foul when there was clearly no contact and it wasn't close. One Colorado player turned but was way too late and the other didn't turn in time.
And of course they have to review to make sure she made the basket before the buzzer. She did. And then she missed the free throw, so I guess it worked out the way it should have.
I guess my point is I just wish the officiating for college women's basketball was better overall.

KSU vs Colorado. Close game tied in 3Q.
Dirty play by KSU guard vs Sherrod. Elbowed her unnecessarily and intentionally in the face (Sherrod’s wearing a face mask). Refs caught it and rightly called the intentional foul. Should’ve been a T in my opinion.

Big Q3 by Colorado, up 10 going into the final frame.
Tameiya Sadler had a real nice Fr. year at Washington, then transferred to Colorado after a coaching change. She's done just about nothing for the Buffs for 3 years, but she was the key in that quarter.

Card in trouble. Should've had a decent lead early, but they didn't. Now Iowa St. can't miss and up 7. And that's with Crooks doing nothing.

I think the Cyclones hit a 3 on 4 straight possessions. Up 23-16 thru Q1. Stanford guards are not exactly dynamic. Sometimes Lepolo has a good game, but mostly she just dribbles around and doesn't do anything.
