There are unconfirmed reports that Coach Rueck's women's basketball staff has received a third verbal commit from the Class of 2017 to join Aleah Goodman (ESPN's #63 recruit in the US in that class) and Taya Corosdale (#27).
If/when the report is confirmed, I will plan to post that info in this forum.

Bingo. The post above by thickhead is consistent with what I have heard. Grymek apparently had narrowed her final two choices to OSU and Kansas. I have seen her listed at 2.01 meters or 6'7". However, it has also been noted by others that she may be pushing 6'8" as thickhead has listed above. Assuming that she continues to play for her Seward Community College team in Kansas this season, Grymek will have two years of eligibility left to compete for the Beavers in '17-'18 and '18-'19. Grymek shot 60.2% from the field last season while averaging 13.4 points and 6.6 boards at the juco level. HoopGurlz has listed Grymek as the top juco prospect in the United States. sewardsaints.com/sports/wbkb/2015-16/bios/grymek_joanna_c672"The Polish Hammer!"

Outstanding. Everything I have read is that she is good to go this year, and has 3 to play 3. Only one year at a JC. Is there anything we don't know ?

I saw stats listed from (presumably) last season at Seward Community College. And articles saying "3 years to play 3"..... But to transfer in, don't you need to get your Associates? So she will sit out this year at Seward? Or will she be on campus early (maybe I have that AA requirement wrong)?
Great get - "The Polish Hammer". Wonder what the t-shirts will look like a few years from now (easy to recognize the Maple Leaf).
Go Beavs!

My suggestion for a nickname for Joanna: The Polish Blockade.
I tried to come up with some around "a ten foot Pole" (from the saying, "I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole"), but couldn't get anywhere with it.

Hmmmmm <Opposing team>, you don't want to touch the ball with a ten foot Pole.... in the paint for OSU!!! I'm not getting much farther with it :-). Go Beavs!
