I still don't get bailing on a team THIS GOOD and a chance to get to the final four. Why does it matter that they're in an easier conference? How does that keep you from getting to the final four w/ everyone returning?

I doubt Daschel would just throw in "and more expected to follow" unless he had some
type of source, which doesn't necessary mean it will happen.
Has anyone heard how much our best players made in NIL this past season?
I am guessing departures will be because they can make more in NIL elsewhere and
the opportunity to play in an elite conference.

I understand she's been dating one of the Arnold brothers, both of whom are going to USC. If she winds up there, then that would identify the reason. If not, who knows? While I'm extremely disappointed she's leaving, it is tempered by the fact that she spent 3 1/2 years here and will have graduated - like Taya in that respect. Still a shock however. You and others here pay far more attention to tweets etc. Isn't this current tweet, decision pretty much in direct opposition to everything she's said the last 13, 14 months+?? If course circumstances change but she really portrayed a player never leaving... Wherever she ends up, let the NIL exaggerations begin!? That was my thought as well. |

She made it very clear she was staying when the topic was brought up. "The grass is always greener where you're watering it" I thought was one of her comments. Plus the article I read a few of the players talked about how they thought everyone would stay. Why on would they say that if they thought the team leader was bailing? It's her right to do whatever is best for her. But she in no way led anyone to believe she wasn't going to stay anytime the topic was brought up. That's my main issue w/ her leaving. Why does it matter what conference it is if you had an ELITE EIGHT team all returning to be one year better and more experienced? Answer me that We don't have enough water....simple |

The portal has made it a REQUIREMENT that we don't invest too much of ourselve's in ANY player. It's BAD for the psyche. I learned that a LONG time ago, pre-portal. Sucks

I'm betting 4 or 5 more. You may or may not be joking but I would bet dollars to donuts Gardiner and Beers are next. Lily, Adlee, or both but not for NIL but because with the current roster we would have 5 players (Dom, AJ, Lily, Adlee, Susana) competing for that 5th spot on the floor and that isn't appealing. I think Marta will also leave, she wasn't at Pac-12 level and I don't think she's at the WCC level either. Maybe Big West or Big Sky. |

Unless they all are getting big payouts to leave, It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I get that TVO might want to play for USC but beyond that... |
