Favre4ever is definitely related to Hansford, so I wouldn’t doubt them and I’d assume Lily is one. OK, but why? Why break up an Elite Eight team just because you have to play in the WCC? Unless they all are getting big payouts to leave, It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I get that TVO might want to play for USC but beyond that...
Put yourself in the shoes of a college basketball player. Especially players at this level who have been the best player on every team they played on until they got to college. Then when they get there they only have 4 years to get the experience they desire. Spending one single year not playing enough, or not playing to your strengths, or playing with players you don't like is too many. The only power they have to control their situation is to transfer.

I'm wondering if she told Scott PRIOR to her post, and if he KNEW prior to the SC game. I just wonder.

I would get it if Martha or maybe Adlee entered the portal because of lack of playing time. How did they make the Elite Eight without almost everyone playing to their strengths? Playing with players they don't like? Maybe. Anything's possible but that certainly didn't seem to be the case. But if there are wholesale transfers out of the program it's got to be more than just the WCC part.

She’s going to transfer to America’s team?
Maybe time to take that off the board…
Maybe SR is leaving? I would doubt it, because his daughter has 1 more year of HS, but maybe.

I wouldn't be surprised to see SR leave. Lots of exposure in the E8 and lots of P5 teams would love to have him... Smith left..Why not Rueck...

Well, selfish me is bummed - I enjoyed this team and its progress greatly, will be among my fondest memories as a citizen of Beaver Nation. More understanding me, is well, more understanding. Talia may have life goals beyond what we see on the hardwood, and she has every right to leverage her talents into a situation that she feels is best for her. And my personal opinion is that a graduate, alumnus player like her who has given years "carrying the water" for Oregon State has every right to look after her enlightened self interests and water the grass wherever she chooses without me feeling the least bit slighted. So I wish her well. Now, not to say this doesn't hurt. As the face of the program, it has impact. As a team leader, she is going to make players who weren't thinking about transferring to revisit their decision. And as has been pointed out here, this is yet another canary in the coalmine of the impacts realignment, NIL, transfer rules, OSU moving to WCC, etc. etc. have had on the program and the school. She will certainly be missed, and the consequences of her departure are (I fear) going to make us miss other players as well. Can the rest of the team stay together? *Will* the rest of the team stay together? We will find out soon enough, but I will hold my breath until the transfer portal closes...... Go Beavers!

I could see it going both ways. I feel like none of the jobs open right now would be overly appealing to him, but who knows. I think Virginia Tech and Tennessee are the biggest jobs open right now, but I might be missing one.

Well to me it feels as if a lot of the press conference rhetoric from Talia about how close this team is may not quite be how it was behind the scenes. I don't think she is a horrible person but as a fan I am a little hurt that she is moving on. With 1 year of eligibilty remaining and a college degree in hand, she has every right to use that last shot to win a title but she could have also done that here at OSU with the team that she "loves"(ed). I hope that the remaining players stay but I have my suspision that they won't now that TVO has left.

She was the unquestioned team leader and she’s gonna lead the team right out the door.

So what administrator at OSU thought playing in the WCC for 2 years after playing in the PAC 12 was a good idea? Could it be the AD? Absolutely no vision or leadership.

Isn't the goal of a team with this much talent to win the whole thing? Seems foolish to go your separate ways hoping the team you go to is as talented as the team you left.
