Vonhleh from Colorado is portaling out. They had lost a number of insignificant transfers previously, but this one will hurt. She was probably their most important returning player.

So I have to ask... which players are actually qualified to answer such a poll? I mean 99%+ have never played for either coach?? Yet both seem to keep recruiting and getting transfers at a high level. I mean Graves has nearly a full roster and the 20th rated recruiting class with just (2) signees. And a solid start to a 2025 class. Down years cycle in, OSU fans should know that and about players leaving Players leave, it is the way of the college hoops world now days. But, if players leaving are on Graves, but a similar amount of highly talented player (maybe more at this point?) have left OSU yet it is not on Scott?! How about it is on neither in most cases? I can only speak to what I know, and that is that players have left because of Graves.

My fear is that she is leaving because a former Beaver from Colorado is transferring there.
A "help me out questions" 1. Can players resubmit or withdrawl from the portal? 2. When does the PORTAL time period end?
Thanks

Wow. Emma Ronsiek from Creighton just transferred to Colorado State. 17/5/3 player from a Big East team that made the 2nd round of the tourney and led UCLA for much of their game in L.A. chose a Mountain West team. Great to see.

Great to see. I’m assuming it’s mostly to play with her sister, but I agree. She would have made a lot of top-25 teams happy.

lefty - - I wouldn't mind if Beers landed in Colorado.... Right now I'm quagmired in the crappy notion that with Beers one of the rich programs is simply going to get richer.
UConn, or some other powerhouse with deep pockets, is going to enrich their roster with a genuinely great player who learned many of her basketball skills at Oregon State. It's irritating. And the fact that it's common practice doesn't make it any less irritating. Especially when you're on the losing end of the deal. GO BEAVS!!

I don't get it with Vonleh either.
She's been playing effectively beside Quay Miller for 2 years, so I don't see why Beers transferring in (if It did happen, but I gotta think Raegan is targeting a higher profile landing spot than CU) would cause her to run away.

If she goes to UConn, I am not sure is she will be loved as much as she was at OSU, there are already a lot of tweets and memes from UConn fans on X due to her religious and political beliefs.

When does the PORTAL time period end? Thanks Yes, players can withdraw from the portal. The last day to enter the portal is May 1, but I don't think that's also the final day to be signed with another school. What difference does it matter where Beers chooses to go? She's not going to be here; that's all that matters to us. She said she is looking for God's help to direct her where she should be. I strongly suspect the Lord will guide her to the university where she'll make the most money.

I think players can enter the portal at any time, but the cut off date is for eligibility for the 24-25 season.

I think players can enter the portal at any time, but the cut off date is for eligibility for the 24-25 season. Grad transfers can enter anytime. Players that have coaches leave/fired have 30(?) days from that date. All other undergrads have to enter by the window deadline, May 1 currently. They have no deadline to sign (or not) elsewhere other than to be enrolled for eligibility purposes.

Vonhleh from Colorado is portaling out. They had lost a number of insignificant transfers previously, but this one will hurt. She was probably their most important returning player. Having a very good season (season ended at #15), and moving to another in a Power Conference, doesn't necessarily translate to retention of talent. With Vonleh portalling, that leaves the Buffs with guards Frida Formann, Sara-Rose Smith and Kindyll Wetta, who were all key rotational players, and guard Kennedy Sanders, a true freshman who redshirted. Formann will be the only returning starter. The Buffs have three incoming freshmen. Other than recruiting class, Colorado is in about the same situation as the WCC-bound Beavers.
