Surprised he didn’t get 3rd Team but oh well. There is no Third Team. Pope should have made Second Team over Boogie Ellis. I get that Ellis is now 104 and has played in the Pac-12 for the last eight decades, but.......... Pope is better. Pope should have been Second Team, and Bilodeau should have received Honorable Mention.

Boogie and Jordan had pretty similar stats overall. Not sure about just in conference. Probably can make a good case for either, but as I said I’m a little surprised Jordan wasn’t “third team.” Tyler definitely should have been honorable mention. Really stepped up his game in conference.

Who picks the all-con teams — media or coaches? I could see the coaches being a little kinder to Pope and Tyler. Not sure how knowledgeable all the media is about players outside their pods.

If Pope wasn't playing on a last place team he probably would have fared better in the player rankings.

I think we got a glimpse in the first two games of tournament why Boogie got 2nd team and Jordan got honorable mention. Boogie gets 25 points (9-15, 5-10), 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and his team won. Pope gets 16 points (6-16, 3-8), 2 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 steals and his team lost. Winning matters even for individual awards.
