So we could lose 1 game every league series and still be ahead of the curve. As long as you are perfect in midweek. You basically can absorb 1.3 losses/week. Short of there, no promises. And wins and losses by opponents and opponents' opponents affect the analysis.

Considering our national rank on most polls is top 5 why would we be worried about rpi?. Just keep winning. I don't think I've ever seen a highly ranked team loose ranks for winning.

In the current D-1 top 10, there are only 2 teams with appreciably tougher Strength of Schedules currently than OSU: Arkansas and Clemson.
Average SOS of current D-1 Top 10 teams is 120, Beavers are at 93.
