I don't know if anyone else has read this series by Bill Oram, but it is very interesting. Part II references our own WT. Again, it's hard to deny that he is a great guy, just wish we had better on-court results. The link below is to Part II of the story, but Part I is also on Oregonlive. Part III comes out tomorrow. link

I just finished this article. First of all, proud of this guy for the decisions he made and the obstacles he overcame. I know a few people who have made bad life decisions and turned themselves around. It's not easy. And it really hit me the connection with WT. It makes you realize what an incredible influence WT can be. He hits most of the marks you want in a coach. Unfortunately, I agree with some that his time may be coming to an end. It's frustrating to watch a team that has some talent but cannot or does not know how to win.

So wild that the guy ends up playing at Gill against the Beavs. You see some weird stuff at JC/NAIA. My son had a wrestling teammate that was like 28 and out of the military, married with kids and wanted to give wrestling one more shot.
