With Washington beating Utah and Washington State beating Colorado, OSU is currently in sole possession of 4th place with the opportunity to move into a third place tie with UCLA if Arizona beats them. Go Wildcats!

Go Wildcats! I do not believe the Arizona matters?? A tie with UCLA we lose the 2nd tie breaker as we are 0-2 vs Stanford and 0-2 vs USC... UCLA is 0-1 vs Stanford and 1-1 vs USC. I believe OSU is "stuck in the 4th spot and on Stanford's side of the bracket.

It was discussed that it didn’t matter from a seeding standpoint on the other thread, but I wasn’t sure if in terms of standings OSU would be considered tied for third or just fourth. Used to always be considered tied unless that has changed.

The tie break is only for tourney seeding so I'm not sure who cares to make a real issue out of it in casual conversation. I'd say that most would say OSU tied for 3rd in the last season of Pac12 play.

We are seeded 4th for the pac 12 tournament.
We would be tied for 3rd in the conference. What difference does it make? Personally I'd rather be tied for third than be in sole possession of 4th. I'd also like the ncaa to consider us as finishing tied for third when second the ncaa tournament.
Several times, including ours, that two teams ended up in a tie for first. Both are considered co champions.
