Probably clinched Nevada an NCAA berth with this shot/win. Jarod's been having a really good year this year. 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists tonight, and averaging 17.2 PPG on the year shooting career highs in FG/3PT/FT% (42.3/39.9/91.4).
Nevada is now 23-6, 10-5 in league play, and should be ranked in the top 25 next week so long as they take care of business at home against a weak Fresno State team.

Great ending and I’m happy for Jarod. He did have a really rough second half though. He missed 3 of 4 FTs in last 20 seconds. And I think he was 1 of 9 from field in the half before hitting that shot. Redemption.

Jarod Lucas scores the final six points to beat Utah 71-69 in the 2020 Pac-12 Tournament.
Then, COVID-19 robbed Oregon State of a chance to beat Oregon in the quarters the next day.

The game replay is on fox sports 2 right now. Jarod is the villain, CSU fans are all over him. Game is chippy. Jarod gets subbed out between CSU free throws and he purposely bumps the shooter as he makes his way off the floor. Can’t wait to see him shut them up.

I've found myself pulling for UNR and WSU a lot this year as a couple teams I'd love to see have some success in the tournament. Hopefully Jarod keeps it rolling, glad to see him have success since leaving, he seems to be the only one who's seen his numbers and minutes improve since doing so in recent years. GTJr, Dashawn davis, etc. found homes but have not had the same role they had here. Jaquori McLaughlin is the only other guy that comes to mind that had a lot of success after transferring, and unless I'm mistaken his UCSB team made the tournament in 2021 as well when the Beavs made the elite eight.
