Arkansas pitchers punched out 16 tonight making it 39 in their last 23 innings. Cowboys squeezed home the winning run in the bottom of the 14th inning. 18 hours later they get to run the OSU Gauntlet.  |

Cowboys squeezed home the winning run in the bottom of the 14th inning. 18 hours later they get to run the OSU Gauntlet. 14 innings is a great result. Oklahoma State got tripped up from our friends at last year's Baton Rouge Regional, Sam Houston, 7-2 and 2-1, but rebounded to win the Sunday game 19-2. All three games were in Huntsville. Otherwise, the Cowboys have won four straight. I am hoping to end that in a couple of hours. |

Heard the bunt was on an 0-2 count. Wow Suicide. The runner was going from 3rd as soon as the pitcher committed. It was a thing of beauty and shore did shut them hog fans up. |

And it shouldn’t have even gone 14 innings. OK state had bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth. On a 3-1 pitch, the Arkansas pitcher threw a fastball that was low and away, and the umpire called it a strike. The replay showed it was clearly a ball and the batter was shocked at the call. Should have ended with the bases loaded walk.
