Clean block by Adlee. Replay was conclusive. And the announcers said the same. Maybe they aren't as biased as some think. Yeah, this game ain’t on the ref’s.

It must hurt to be you, Chicken Little. It's called math and logic. Give it a try. Logic? Defeatism, is more like it, Chicken Little. Beers needs to recover. So, we lose this game. Not great, but not that bad either. We will still get a 1st round bye in the con tourney especially if we beat Stanford with a recovered Beers. Even if we lose to Stanford, there is still the tourney in which to make noise. In short, Chicken Little, the sky is not falling, the world is not ending, and life goes on.

Beers is OSU's star player and the offense runs through her. So the fact that the Beavers struggle without her is not a big surprise. For me, it's how ineffective the offense is without her. No player seems to be highly capable of creating much on offense other than hitting some 3s here and there. Part of that is on Rueck but at the end of the day it's still basketball and you would think some of the players could create something. It just looked like a bunch of role players playing without their star, which is really disappointing.

Lost in the Beers injury, our really poor guard play and lack of shooting today is Ladine going from being scoreless vs Hole to burning us for 23. And in a lower scoring game that proved to be brutal. Leaving her wide open twice in a row from 3 in the 2nd half really hurt us.

Weird a bunch on here called out USC and Juju as not being a "team", just a one woman show. Now Beers is out and suddenly she is the entire team?? This team is more than just Beers. Come on... OSU is playing poorly especially on D... Last I saw UW was 1/12 from 3... and 19/41 from the field... meaning 18/29 (62.1%) at that juncture. That is a "bit" above our normal effort and it isn't all about Beers. Some mentioned the lack of play and emotion vs WSU and were told it was a good road win even though they have missed their best player , by far, for several games. To top it off the same folks here that have mentioned all season long that UW isn't good, can't finish games, and their coach is in over her head maybe realize it is a tough league. Injuries and illness are part of sports. If you are a top level team you step it up. At this point they are not stepping it up and see to have zero emotion. I mean 44 points vs UW with 3 min to play?? A team giving up 69 ppg in conference play. Even with no Beers that's a bit on a head scratcher. I thought watching @ WSU players looked down.... like maybe fighting a illness/fatigue??? It also goes back to recruiting... well before the complete implosion of the Pac12... Rees and Sela are fine young women and very much "role" players. But, they are not they type to step in for a player of Beers caliber, even combined. Many mentioned the lack of post depth in terms of scoring talent, it has become more and more apparent. This team has over achieved and the season is far from over. But, from the play at WSU and so far thru 3.5 qtrs I am more worried about the team psyche... do they know more about Beers' injury than we do right now?? I never though it was too serious, but that caution should be used in letting her play this weekend. But, I also thought the mentality of this team was a lot tougher than to have it have this big of effect. But, this is an anomaly... teams have them. If Stanford can lose to Arizona... I’d say UCLA and Stanford are both high level teams and both have lost to teams that aren’t great when their stars were out, and they have much more star power/top recruits that OSU does. I don’t necessarily think Beers is our whole team, but (as Close said about UCLA without Betts) it’s a whole different game when you’re missing a player that you play through and demands so much attention from the defense. Need to regroup and hopefully get Beers back next weekend, cause that was ugly.

Uh, nope, there were no heros today, aot of pathetic play, but no heros. Maybe they can regroup cause they're not beating anybody playing like this game. Just ugly all around.
