Would be interesting to be a fly on the wall and see what Coach Bray and his staff are up to this time of year. Not sure if this is a recruiting time or a get the staff together to get everyone on the same page? What do you guys think is going on? I am very optomistic about the upcoming season. Go Beavs!!

Lots of spring football prep happening. Don't know the recruiting rules are this time of year but it never ends no matter the restrictions.

I remember Mike Riley saying February and about June 15 to July 15 is when you can breathe and have a fairly normal life.

I am sure the middle of summer used to be more of a down time for college football coaches. With the way the recruiting cycle has sped up programs most intense recruiting period is now spring and summer. Most programs have much of their upcoming class committed by mid-summer and are largely moving onto recruiting the next class in the fall. There is no rest for the weary in modern college football.

Even Oregon State athletics doesn’t have photos of Keith, other than a head shot. When spring practice starts, we’ll get photos of Keith. The only recent photos we have of Keith are from his days (4 years ago) as defensive coordinator at Oregon. Once spring football begins, we won’t use them again. Thanks for writing. Nick Daschel" |

Nick Daschel" Don't they, or schools photo shop uniforms, etc all the time? Seems a 1 minute email to the SID to request a current photo in OSU attire was pretty simple task?! |

I remember reading an article about how there is times that the coaches can’t be around the players or something like that. Point of it was the importance of your S&C staff and having them on the same page as your vision because they’re the coaches that actually spend the most time with them or something along those lines. That’s why I was glad they promoted the guy that was under Macdonald because I think he is a really good coach and it should maintain that continuity going forward.

Schools - maybe? It would have been nice to know we could have our...pictures in a row, ready to go, before the announcement went out.
Oregonian/OLive? Say what you will about them, but photoshopping a uniform on a picture for that purpose is beyond the pale, even for them. It was nice to see they played it straight, even though, yeah, bad photo choice.
