Dimensions are similars to Goss, slightly bigger. Smaller than Surprise. Games this weekend averaged slightly more than 1 HR per game. Ducks didn’t hit a HR in 3 games, when they mashed a bunch last year.
Will be a good power comparison.

It's one of the easier MLB stadiums for power ball so should tell us something. The other teams at the game are also not slouches in terms of power year to year. This first week could be an aberration too, the HR rate would have us breaking LSUs record by 70ish atm.
It will be interesting to see how the boys do in an enclosed stadium, no idea when we last played without some air flow!

Was there this last weekend. Family friend plays for the ducks. Cool field, I will say the alleys are HUGE! LF was 329 and then you go 30 to 50 feet down the warning track towards center and it was something like 374?! LCF was 410 and CF was 408, if my memory serves me correctly.
Saw all the teams. First weekend so grain of salt. This is how I’d rank what I saw.
Tennessee Texas Tech Oregon Baylor Oklahoma Nebraska
That said, teams 2 through 6, honestly pretty even. Nebraska was not bad. Some really good college ball. Was fun chatting with tech, Oklahoma, duck and Nebraska fans. Told them I was a BEAV supporting our friends kid. They were all about the BEAVS! Especially Tech. They’re gunning for us. They want Wednesday.
Tech has pop. So did Baylor. Ducks weren’t bad with pop. They had 3 or 4 that were caught at the fence or on the warning track that would have been gone at their stadium. One kid from tech hit a foul ball that was upper, UPPER deck. Probably would’ve been 440 to 450 range.
I did notice that withe exception to the Ducks, other teams can’t hit off speed. They can hit gas, but if you gotta a starter that’s 88 - 92 but locates, pop flies and ground balls all day. Ducks couldn’t touch anything over 93. But we’re very patient and drove off speed.
Was a ton of fun and if I didn’t have a prior commitment, I’d go this weekend!
