And yes the crowd went nuts whenever she was on the court And TVO’s game-winner was delivered IN HER (Rice’s) FACE. Rice threw an elbow in Rae's face TVO threw down a game-winner in Rice's face. To paraphrase Sir Isaac Newton; Payback is a bizzotch.

They obviously didn't keep such records in late 70's/early 80's! There were more staying the night/standing for hours on the ramps than that!

As a guess, 4500 students packed in a few games early 80's.

As a guess, 4500 students packed in a few games early 80's. Maybe, but we also had a lot of season ticket holders back then and they weren’t letting that many students in. In the late 80’s, when I was there, we had to have season tickets as students and they were was only a couple thousand available. You had to camp out to start the year, or in my case, bring large humans from the football team, to make sure you got your season tickets.

But saying that, I think we just showed our student ID (the one with the ssn) at the gate and came in. For big games people would sit in the aisles. I don't know if whoever managed the games told the guards that no more entrance was allowed?

And yes, I remember that your student ID was your SSN number. It was also my driver’s license number in Montana in the late 90’s. The glory days before identity theft.

They obviously didn't keep such records in late 70's/early 80's! I went to Oregon State during the early 60's and all you needed to get in was you student ID. At that time the students got all the upper North Side and I can remember one game where it was so packed that students filled the aisles. There were more staying the night/standing for hours on the ramps than that!

Not sure if anyone other than me was curious about how the UCLA game was called by the UCLA radio announcer, particularly the end, but if so I found the call of the full game by their play-by-play guy. I didn't listen to the whole game, just skipped around to the parts I wanted to hear. It had some static when I listened but still good. The crowd sounds so loud. I know how it ends but still got chills listening. Oh, well, here it is. ucla.leanplayer.com/past-events

At the end of the broadcast they showed a little bit of Talia going through the handshake line. She was making eye contact with each UCLA coach and player. Except one

Maybe, but I liked the fact the Cori Close gave Talia a hug. Talia was very intense at the end of the game. It was special to see.
