The last time that Oregon State swept the Arizona schools in Corvallis and beat UCLA at Pauley was 1984. Oregon State swept the Arizona schools and swept the Los Angeles schools in Los Angeles. The Beavs also got swept by the Washington schools on the road that year and had three nonconference losses. Oregon State won the Pac-10 Championship but were bounced out of the first round by West Virginia.
The last time that Oregon State swept the Arizona schools in Corvallis and beat one of the Los Angeles schools on the road was 1989-90, Oregon State beat USC and then lost to UCLA. The time before that was 1982. Oregon State lost to UCLA and then beat USC. The same thing happened in 1980.

Damn, that West Virginia game. The game is tied, about 6 seconds left in regulation. We are inbounding at mid court. I think we had advanced the ball and then called a time out. In my mind, worst case, overtime. Sure as shlt, the inbounds pass is stolen and WV lays it in.
