January 8, 2015 Oregon State Men swept Arizona State and #7 Arizona, and Oregon State Women swept Oregon in Corvallis and then Eugene. That was Tinkle's first year and the year that the Women lost to Gonzaga in the Second Round. Probably the best weekend before this weekend. You have to remember that the women's basketball team only started in 1976. The women started independent and then moved into the NWBL. Then, the women moved into the NorPac. The women did not start playing in the Pac-10 until 1986-87. |
