When you hire an AD (or any position for that matter) based on factors other than the most qualified, able, skilled, and capable candidate with an ounce of integrity you get this: Massive debt crisis looming, loss of full conference membership status, loss after loss in court, the loss of your best HC in a couple decades, loss of trust and confidence from your peers, players, alumni, and fans. At least she wasn't in the ER attempting life saving surgery on anyone. |

Apparently I blocked the fact CP was HC there out of my memory and was thinking all the way back to James. CP certainly had a longer track record from which to judge. Hard to compare the two for that reason. What DeBoer did in two seasons was remarkable and is something that hasn't been accomplished since James was there. |
