Just made a game saving play. Knocked the ball out and it rolled through the end zone to give the ball back to the Bills.

wide right...all that needs to be said on that game Super Bowl XXV: Statistically, between extra points and field goals, Anders Carlson, Green Bay's kicker, was the worst field goal kicker in the NFL, and Carlson went wide left to sink the Pakcers. To add insult to injury, the Packers spent a Sixth Round pick on Carlson. The Bills spent an even better Sixth Round pick on Bass back in 2020. Ended Musgrave's and Poyer's seasons. Sucks.

Pack had chances to salt that game away, keep the lead/tie, or tie it up/win at the end, and they failed in all facets. From dropped interceptions, to missed FGs, to ill-advised desperation throws over-the-middle on 1st down with plenty of time remaining to tie or win. At least I'm not a Packer fan. Bills also seemed "in control" of that game early, but weren't able to pull away, faded late and, of course, the missed FG. Both of those teams/coaching staffs are going to be kicking themselves after losing those games.

Most 6th-round picks don't even make the team, much less become a starter. I'd say both were good picks, even though both had their struggles this year. Carlson and Bass also play half their schedule in the two most inhospitable game venues, weather-wise, in the NFL. Much tougher kicking outside in Green Bay and Orchard Park than indoors in Minnesota and other domed stadiums.

Don’t forget Chicago. Possibly the worst.

Windiest cities in the NFL in order: Orchard Park Foxborough New York Kansas City Santa Clara Cleveland Minneapolis Chicago Green Bay Philadelphia Not on THAT day! Plus that HVAC system inside the Minnesota Vikings stadium must be one powerful unit! But just because figures don't lie, and liars don't figure.... Windiest stadiums in the NFL Not only is is cold at Lambeau, it's also windy. It isn't the windiest, though. That distinction belongs — barely — to Green Bay's archrival to the south. Here's the ranking of the top five windiest stadiums based on monthly average wind speeds in miles per hour during the 2021 regular season. Of note: Three of the five windiest stadiums are on or near one of the Great Lakes. 1. Chicago, Soldier Field, 12.9 mph 2. Green Bay, Lambeau Field, 12.4 mph 3. Cleveland, FirstEnergy Stadium, 12.1 mph 4. Miami Gardens, Fla., Hard Rock Stadium, 11.7 mph 5. Kansas City, Mo., Arrowhead Stadium, 11.2 mph www.jsonline.com/story/weather/2022/09/09/green-bay-packers-lambeau-field-coldest-stadium-nfl-among-windiest-snowiest/8022249001/
