No not advocating for him as a replacement. Just some news — Hopkins out at UW.

The smart money is on Sprinkle to be the next UW coach.

The smart money is on Sprinkle to be the next UW coach. Not surprising as he is from WA.

On paper Sprinkle would be a good hire, but one never knows how a coach is going to do at a new location at a higher level. Sprinkle and WT had similar success at the Big Sky level. The Big 10 is a significant step up from Montana State and Utah State. But then again most coaching hires are a crap shoot to a degree.

The smart money is on Sprinkle to be the next UW coach. From my “insider” — It’s a done deal … Has been for a little while

Missouri went 0-18 in the SEC. I remember there was much excitement about their new coach in the 2022-23 season, some dude from Cleveland State. Instead, this year was a total disaster. They had two P5 wins.
Somebody always has it worse.

It'll be interesting to see where it goes.

I think he brought in 5 transfers and just didn’t work. Right now they have #4 class coming in — four 4-stars and a 3-star — so will be interesting to see if they bounce back.

Well, as we know, from listening to a few posters here, both losing good players and bringing in transfers that just don't work.... is just an excuse. The coach is obviously lousy. Seriously though, it'll be interesting to see their team's recovery.

Seeing multiple reports of Moser to DePaul. Would be a very nice hire if comes to pass. Reports were he wanted out of OK and wanted to get back to Midwest and private school. Early front runner for OK job might be Kellen Sampson. He’s head coach in waiting to his dad at Houston, but HC job at his alma mater might be too tough to pass up.

Porter did a great job at Loyola but man, DePaul is a big task. I hear they are at least thinking about an on-campus arena, and other improvements. Moser was a perfect fit at Loyola, could have worked there forever and made more than $1 million a year. But I totally understand him setting himself up for life with huge money by taking the Oklahoma job, even though (IMHO) nobody in their right mind leaves a great city like Chicago for Oklahoma.

Only the top four scorers, huh? Have a point? Losing the top six scorers would be more difficult to replace in a single season? And a better record, despite losing those top six scorers would be something to condone or forgive? And a slightly better record the season following might be as well? Asking for a friend of a friend.

I’m lost. Are we still talking about Norm Stewart?
