GP has head coach is the one person who could turn things around at OSU. Think about it. GP is the equivalent of CJS, Rueck and Canham at the helm of MBB. You'd be making a mistake. Someday, I hope GP proves you both wrong. What’s the one difference between GP and the others you mentioned? Oh yeah, they all had years of coaching experience. Also, does GP have his degree? I had 1 class with him and he showed up the first day and I never saw him again. Coincidentally, he “aced” that class. Between tutoring help and travel did he really need to attend the class? He could even take the tests while traveling. There were a bunch of classes I hardly attended myself when at OSU. I did fine. |

Romar had a good 10 year run at UW, but he is 65 and his coaching career is likely over, unless he wants to coach at a JC or High School. He is a deeply religious man so maybe he will get involved with Athletes in Action who he briefly played for after his time in the NBA. I remember when Athletes in Action was considered one of the best amateur teams in the world in the late 70s early 80s.
