There’s no way Rueck would be worse than Wayne. If I had 8.7M to give Scott Barnes, I'd say here is Coach Tinkle's buyout. Saying that, it is possible Rueck would be worse. Tinkle's not horrible. I'm thinking he is somewhere around 55 to 65 of the about 72 P6 coaches. Maybe Rueck couldn't relate to the men or his schtick falls flat. Just a year ago I was thinking his time had passed. I'm grateful the women have recovered and may be an upper half conference team. |

If the Women’s game translated to the men, Pat Summitt would have been the Tennessee men’s coach early. This is curious. How is the "women's game" different from the men? Is it just how you relate to a woman vs a man? The players wouldn't listen to Rueck? If thats the case, the easy fix is to find players who would, and I have no doubt SR could do that. My guess is that if Rueck was put in place of Tinkle, a portion of our current players would find good coaching refreshing and like it. And the rest would transfer out .. which would do us a favor. But I guess we'll never know, since I seriously doubt SR would want to coach the men. |
