This is an area of concern in my opinion for the team going forward. I don't know what the answer is but I do see a problem with the PG's being pretty hesitant to shoot from the perimeter. I get it, they're not great shooters but you do have to be able to keep the defense honest and make them defend you out there to open up drive lanes.
The team has some capable shooters but two of the best shooters aren't on the court much because of their other deficiencies. Reagan alone makes up for a lot of sins on offense and the team is incredibly unselfish so that does make the group overall hard to defend.
If Dono or Shuler develop the confidence to make people pay for leaving them open, the team has a chance to truly be great. Defense is so much better than expected and the offense isn't bad either.
So far, I would give the coaching an A for what they've done with this group. If they can continue to improve, a sweet 16 isn't out of the question. That would go a long ways towards keeping Reagan and Timea here for two more years!

I'd like to see Dono & Kennedie improve their mid-range game & start looking for their shot on the pick & roll (much like Sabrina I. at Oregon on the Ruthy Hebard screen). This would keep the defense from collapsing on Raegan).

Our best three point shooters in recent games: Pac 12 play (5 games): Lily .667 TVO .375 Adlee .364 AJ .313
The last 3 games: Lily 1.000 She's only taken one 3pt shot, and she made it TVO .428 6-14 Adlee .444 4-9 AJ .400 2-5
I think these numbers are important because if this team is going to be an elite 3pt shooting team, or have an elite 3pt shooter, I would bet on it being because either TVO, Adlee, or Lily stepped up and started hitting the big shots. As we can tell from Werebeaver's post those three have all improved their 3pt shooting since the start of Pac12 play. Although Kelsey, Timea, and AJ have cooled a bit since Pac12 games have started, I think the three best shooters (Talia, Adlee, and Lily) have started to hit their stride. IMHO those three give the Beavs the best opportunity to have an elite 3pt shooter on the team. Timea, Kelsey, and AJ, can certainly all help, but I don't think they have developed the shooting ability of Talia, Adlee, or Lily yet. I'd be thrilled if they did though.
