Reports are out saying that Brent Brennan has been offered the Arizona job If so, he has to take it. No brainer. Not like SJ St can outbid them. Or sell the cost of living advantage! 🤔 🤣 |

Or sell the cost of living advantage! 🤔 🤣 I just watched the Arizona news. They were championing Johnny Nansen, Texas' co-defensive coordinator, or Barry Odom, UNLV's head coach. Arizona has the hiring freeze still in place to try and get back into the black, which means that the Wildcats cannot exceed the amount spent on the last coaching staff. Still, I would love to have another Beaver in the Big 12. I am still hoping for a Big 12 invite, no matter how forlorn that hope is. |

It’s official, congratulations to Brent 7 seasons. 34-47 record. He must have killed it in the interview. Or/and agreed to work on the cheap. He's taken SJSU to bowl games in 3 of the last 4 years. That's a huge accomplishment at a perennial WAC/Mtn West cellar dweller on a shoe string budget. Was on the short list previously at Stanford and OSU, he can coach. |

News that helps him immensely... Fifita and McMillan staying put. As is the DC if Brennan wants him. Also "our own" Kevin Cummings the WR coach has connections to Brennan. Pretty good start before even stepping into his office.

Reports are out saying that Brent Brennan has been offered the Arizona job I liked Bray, but it it wasn't to be Bray, Brennan was my top choice. I like him over Chryst. He has been very impressive given the situation at SJSU. |

Guess I've reached jaded college football fandom where I instantly assumed there would be a mass exodus to UW. |

Was Kevin Cummings the guy who played WR for us in the later Riley years? I don't remember him being a standout WR but glad to see him succeeding in coaching.
