Alabama has to pay uw $12 for poaching their coach
MSU would be owed $7m for their coach
Still up $5m...Nothing would surprise me

Especially the players. Not sure if Smith cares about any of them, though. |

Highly unlikely the double jump would happen...but UW at MSU would be an 'electric' B1G game if it did happen...Keep an eye on East Lansing Goodwill stores

It'd be interesting to see. I don’t think the rule is that specific. It says when the head coach leaves, the window applies. Doubtful it matters, because I don’t think they would go after him at this point. |

If I am willing to leave OSU to go to MSU to play for Smith, then I'd be very willing to leave MSU to play for Smith at UW. If I were a player, that is. I'd definitely go. UW just played for the national title. But the question is how many of the players followed Smith and how many followed the position coaches. Might be harder to get those position coaches to Seattle, so maybe the players stay too. I am doubtful UW will even talk to Smith. I am curious, though, who UW might be looking at. |

I now realize just how naive I was. Nothing would surprise me at this point. You know he's got to be thinking about the possibility of flaming out at mSU, which has a pretty decent likelihood of happening......and then back to being a coordinator, or lesser HC job......he may never have another chance for u dub. I'm betting there is at least some discussions. |
