What they need is a mic for the reporters to pass around similar to what they have at the NCAA tournaments. Also having individual mics is key for players and coaches.

I sent an email to Andrew Goodwin - Communications lead for WBB. Maybe we can enter modern times with the sound.

So many great observations from today's game. My favorite was OSU WBB did what they should have done vs an inferior team--they buried ASU. That is a measure of a very good team. My next favorite observation was directed to Aleah Goodman. Our PG play has been nothing short of a miracle. Our two freshman PGs are playing like junior/seniors--no doubt learning from the best PG OSU has had in last 10 seasons. I appreciate the enthusiasm about the PG play from the OSU frosh this season. However, didn't Sydney Wiese play PG for the Beavs during the past decade? I know that Sydney helped lead the Beavs to three consecutive PAC-12 regular season titles with the most recent one taking place in 2016-2017. Aleah enjoyed a marvelous senior season as PG in 2020-2021, but the OSU standard of excellence during the past decade was set and maintained by Wiese during her four memorable seasons in Corvallis. Four consecutive All-PAC-12 selections, three regular season conference titles, one PAC-12 tournament championship, and a Final Four appearance are all a part of Wiese's gaudy PG resume and helped put OSU back on the national Top 10 landscape for women's basketball.

OSU had the same issue a couple years back and someone set up a mic to pass around the press for their questions. I'm not sure why they stopped it

I'm not sure why they stopped it I think we can all agree that, for a major university, Oregon State historically does a terrible job with many things involving 21st century technology - and even 20th century technology.

She had an amazing ability to, time after time in a close game, just stick a dagger in the opponent's heart with a made three. Aleah was very good for us, but she wasn't Syd. The numbers speak for themselves.

One of many games that season in which she showed her leadership and took over when the Beavs needed a big bucket.
