We are looking to go to this series with our 3 boys ages 9-15. Does anyone have suggestions on where to stay? It looks like the stadium is super close to a Six Flags. Is this a good area or is further out better?
Also, does anyone know if the Alumni Association is planning anything for this event? I have seen one listed for Surprise, but nothing for Arlington.
I am really looking forward to seeing the matchups in this tournament. Should be a good one!

Are you only watching the OSU game each day or the other game too? When I'm in that area I typically stay near the Entertainment District as you can walk to a lot of stuff without getting into your car. And there is a trolley service. www.arlington.org/hotels/hotels-in-entertainment-district/Parking will probably not be an issue as although it is a nice event, it probably will not draw a huge amount of fans overall to make parking bad. Parking lots Q, R, V are like $39 for all three days, the TT game parking is separate... like $15 globelifefield.com/event/college-baseball-at-globe-life-field-20240303/

I will be staying at the Comfort Suites Grande Prairie. Have not stayed there before, but prices are good and reviews are good. A Google map search indicates a clean area. It's four miles from Globe Life Park.

I suggest staying at the Live! By Loews resort on site at the stadium. Short notice booking could be rough though. Stadium is right there, restaurants everywhere, and fun local things like the K1 speed and batting cages are close by. I know they are building a second hotel right across the street, but don't know if it's open yet.
I've also stayed at a hotel a few miles from the stadium. Getting there isn't difficult, but we had a much better time staying at the resort on site.
Getting to places like K1 and six flags was very easy for us both times we have been to Arlington. Never dealt with anything close to bad traffic. In fact, we found the traffic so easy to deal with we just drove around and checked things out in between events and when we got restless. Loews has valet service, so parking is taken care of if you stay there.
The whole area seemed fine to us. But we live in Eugene. Didn't see a single homeless camp or panhandler either time we went. It was glorious.
There are plenty of other places to stay that are within walking distance or pretty close to the stadium. Lots of good restaurants and fun stuff to do. I hope you have a great trip.

Six Flags over Texas is 2.0 miles from Globe Life Park and on the way there be sure to stop at the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame which is only 1.3 miles from Globe Life Park on the way to Six Flags.
