RHP Zach Swanson, a 6'3" 197 member of the OSU class of 2024, is being projected as a late 2nd round - late 3rd round pick in the '24 MLB Draft. Swanson is a multi-sport athlete at Toutle Lake, WA. High School. Scouts are taken with his sound mechanics, 95 mph fastball and filthy slider.
Baseball America has him ranked as the #24 prep prospect in the 2024 class, Perfect Game has him # 68 and Prep Baseball Report has him at #69. All three sites rank him as the #1 prospect in the state of Washington.
