Same thing with rich right wing donors pulling money on the left wing Ivy league schools supporting the terrorists. Inserting their influence just in a different manner.

I'm no fan of Knight. But this is a 5+ year old article. It’s been going on for awhile. I found it interesting, if "reports" are to be believed, that Knight wanted to keep the Pac12 together, but that uo went along with the move to the Big10 Big 14 Big 18 anyway. It would be interesting to find out about this from the oregon point of view, similar to the article in the Seattle Times about the uw point of view. My "Bold" Prediction™ if this were to come to pass: Nobody in the $tory will cover themselve$ in glory. |

From what I hear from some pretty good sources, Uncle Phil wanted the Pac-12 to be maintained but left the decision up to the university administrators. Which is how it should be, whether we liked their decision or not.

I wish Bill Harbaugh wrote more about uncle phil's interference in the school. He used to write more it seems like. I wonder if he got a gag order or something.
