Needs his Heisman back. He was the NIL before the NIL.
I remember maybe 10 years ago when auburn players were admitting to getting cash under the table ...actually it was in plain sight but it was the SEC so nobody did anything.

Reggie's parents got money to rent a house. Not sure if that is permissible under current NIL rules.
Whether or not it's legal now, it wasn't then and he cheated his balls off.

His parents were getting money to rent (a much nicer home then they could afford) while Reggie was going to Helix High, in La Mesa, CA, a town just east of San Diego. My uncle has lived a “stone’s throw away” from the school since 1963.

I would think if the people who gave money to parents got an endorsement from the parents for paying them, by today's standards it'd be totally legal. Endorse my business, endorse me, enforse whatever you want, but endorse something... and it's just a business deal.

Now rent/lease in the player's name with parents living there probably works?? But, each school reviews and OKs before it ever happens.

I remember when I got a speeding ticket for going 65 on I-5 back when it was a 55 speed limit. I should get my record expunged and my money back.

You forgot the golden rule which is "9 is fine but 10 you're mine" Historically - yes. Now it is 15 over. By the way, if you really want to have some fun, look at ORS 820.320. Officers who pursue a driver, who is not driving recklessly or exceeding speed limit in an egregious way, can be filed against for free in Circuit Court. I have done it more than once. Pretty hard to justify writing a ticket for 14 over, say 79 in a 65, when you pursue at 98+ miles an hour to catch someone, without lights or siren, in the equivalent of an unmarked vehicle. A copy of the dash cam video from the officers car, can be had for a fee - it will show whether or not lights/ siren/ etc were on, and when. Just sayin'

I'm quite happy with 65 as a speed limit. I don't want to be driving 80 mph, but if you head south on I-5 then just outside of Salem, if you aren't doing 80, then you're stuck behind a truck in the right lane doing 60. That patch is awful.

Ankeny Hill, between Albany and Salem îs a wierd bottleneck.

This is much more relevant than Reggie Bush's gonads. Would a ballot measure pass in Oregon to raise the gas tax if it said the first priority with the dollars raised is to make I-5 three lanes in each direction from exit 188 (Hwy 58) to Kuebler Blvd, second priority is a four-lane highway from Grand Ronde to Otis Junction and third priority is additional passing lanes on Hwy's 22, 26, 126, 58, 38, and 140?
