1937-2023. I still remember loving the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour in grade school and being stunned when CBS unceremoniously yanked the show off the air.
One of the great ones.

RIP Their looks never matched their message. And they had a lot to say back in the day. Their show knocked NBC's powerhouse western "Bonanza" out of number one in the ratings on Sunday nights at 9:00. A spot Bonanza had held for 4 years. A very symbolic change of the guard. |
