Lol....I also was like...wasn't this reported days ago? (And I don't nerd out on the recruiting board either) Regardless....yeah it's all good. Don't have the energy to get angry at people for posting on the wrong board. Merry F-ing Christmas all my fellow message boarders. Side note.....my gf now likes to tease me- "are you posting angry rants again??" ... I'm trying to get better. |

I don't read the recruiting board. I hate boards focused on recruiting, because it tends to be far too focused on things that might possibly happen that almost never happen. And if they do happen, it does not seem to matter for a couple of years, if it ever does. It is much better to see talent position transfers on the big board. Just my opinion. |

And if they do happen, it does not seem to matter for a couple of years, if it ever does. It is much better to see talent position transfers on the big board. Just my opinion. I typically don't pay much attention to recruiting. I do follow UI sports on the side because I went there for a couple of years back in the 80's when Don Monson and Dennis Erickson were the FB and Basketball coaches. They have a small message board (Allvandals) and I learned about Gevani's move from that board. FCS teams are resigned to talented players portaling out so less of a FTG reaction than a "wish him well" response. At any rate, that's really the only reason I posted it. I figured once a guy commits, he's not really a "recruit" any more. But I'm sure folks will pick that apart as well. That's kinda what we do around here. Especially after the regular season is over. |
