That was an ugly first quarter. Utah hasn’t had much offense all season, but this is bad. I also don’t like the idea of live microphones for 2 players after the snap.

I’ll tell you one thing I’ve loved about the game. The Utes players know how to tackle! Open field textbook tackles.

As Spud noted tackling for both teams may be the highlight.
Utah has been hammered by the portal. Surprising. They seem to be generous with NIL. Barnes needs a great 2nd half or his portal destination might be D-III. Announcers say OL problems, but Barnes has had time on the passes. Imho.

But the real difference was the Utah couldn't defend the pass very well.
Good game, though.
