This guy has been saying the Pac-2 are going to the Big-12 for months based on made up theories.

I think they're basing some of their discussion on a couple of tweets thrown out last week by a guy who is right about 20% of the time. He said that TKO was talking to the ACC and the Big12 about some massive media investment that would see those two merge and supposedly there was talk they'd bring in the PAC 2.
Might as well have apple buy all three. They could afford it.

I prefer to be the Pac 12. Grab a couple of the Big 12 teams and build the conference.

I prefer to be the Pac 12. Grab a couple of the Big 12 teams and build the conference. But if BIG12 is willing to take OSU at like 30 mil a season then I think they have to do that. Basically half the league would be former PAC teams anyway. |

I prefer to be the Pac 12. Grab a couple of the Big 12 teams and build the conference. But if BIG12 is willing to take OSU at like 30 mil a season then I think they have to do that. Basically half the league would be former PAC teams anyway. Previously, this was exactly what I was hoping for. But now, I kinda like being the Pac 12. I think keeping it alive will help send a big FU to the powers that be. And it can prove to be a haven for others.

If I were the commissioner of the Big 12 I would be moving aggressively to secure a 30 team conference made up of OSU, ,WSU, and as many ACC teams as needed so there were 3 ten team regions (west, central and east) to compete with the Big 10 and SEC.
If an old guy sitting in his recliner sipping bourbon can figure this out, I am shocked the suits running the show can’t see the opportunity!!!
Don’t mean to be disrespectful but these guys need to step up and be leaders!!!

Instead of the three that would be possible if it were separate conferences. Or is the suggestion to totally shun the B1G and SEC and only play amongst ourselves in this scenario. I could be behind the latter. Let them take their ball and go only play themselves. Then Michigan and Alabama can see what it is like to play more than one game a year where they might lose. |
