Makes sense to me as long as football can continue relationship with MWC during that time. Didn’t really have too many options and needed to get something in place fairly quick to not negatively impact recruiting even more. Not sure what the plan is for baseball. Guess I’ll head to that forum to see if any info.

Hard to imagine a scenario that was better. WCC cuts down on total travel, gives the beavers a legitimate shot at recruiting the same types of guys they have been recruiting.
MWC is way better overall, but the fact that all the games will be much closer with the WCC is worth the trade off.
I actually think portal losses will be reduced because of this…..maybe only losing pope now.
