Today, Baseball America was full of accolades for past and present Beavers. Not only the recognition of Melton as the No. 1 ranking prospect in the Astro's organization, but they also recognized Trent Caraway as one of the top-25 incoming freshmen nationally that could impact their respective teams in 2024. In the opinion of BA, Caraway is the most advanced and polished freshman hitter in the country.
The Beavers now have two highly nationally acclaimed prep hitters that spurned the Pros so they could knock down the fences and rattle the scoreboard at Goss Stadium.
