You sound disappointed that the Beavs won. What leads you to think that? I don’t stay awake until the early morning hours ET for approximately 1/2 the Beavers game to root against them. I think it's the fact that your first post immediately after OSU won was to point out what the other teams rating was implying they aren't a great team. |

Heck that other guy didn’t think they were either. He ended his preview in first post of thread with something like Beavers should pull away in second half. I believe there is no such thing as a bad win. Doesn’t make every win a good one. Maybe he’s just mad they my take when I said this game worried me was better than his Beavers should pull away take. 😃 |

Beavers avoid their first quad 4 loss of the year. UTSA was #291 in NET heading into this game. Oregon State gets another quad 4 test in Idaho State on Thursday. Oregon State plays two quad 3 teams in UCLA and USC the day before and after the Sun Bowl. Oregon State plays two quad 2 teams in Wazzu and Washington the week after. One more game to get things going before the conference slog starts up. |

OSU is going to kill me this season with all these close games LOL. Just once I'd like to see them stomp on someone for a comfortable win. At least they are winning the close games. They really need to get off to better starts and 1st Half play. How many times this season have they had to rally back in the 2nd Half to win? Rest easy. We’ll be in conference play soon. |

Didn’t say it wasn’t. Did say it wasn’t an artistic success. I think that’s accurate. I did like the way they improved the shooting percentage and urgency in the second half. |

Jordan Ivy-Curry played his first game for UTSA and had 11 points, seven assists, four rebounds and a steal. He made them a much better team than they were in the previous 10 games. If he plays the previous 10 they are much better than #291.

Kinda like constantly hearing: - can't win at OSU - OSU is impossible to recruit to - better than the last ?? years, ?? coaches - Elite 8 - there is no other quality coach who'd take the OSU job - who could do better at OSU - can't afford to hire anyone else I'm sure I missed some. It's his 10th season FFS and a sketchy win at home vs a Q4 team is a positive. A consistent, near or over 200 NET is ok... vs a consistently weak NC schedule 134-161 / 58-110. I'm pretty sure with these expectations several HS would do just fine! |
