Solid rumor from a high quality source is that OSU and WSU will play in the MWC the '24-'25 season as members of the conference, eligible for a conference championship, and NOT as a mere scheduling alliance.

IMO this would be a marriage of convenience and will have the option to be annulled once the future of the Pac-2 is decided.

It doesn't make sense to me, except as a short-term solution. In the end, we want a reboot of the Pac, which should include at least all major sports. At least, that is what I'm rooting for.
