A federal court has granted a temporary restraining order and the NCAA can't enforce transfer rules during the next 14 days. This apparently means players won't have to sit out a year if they transfer during this period.

It's temp. If they choose to and it's overturned they're putting themselves at risk. I could see schools really balking at accepting such players. There are plenty of legit players out there to jump into another legal fray.

I had a chuckle when I read this comment on reddit from a Purdue fan: "Can we sue the NCAA to let Drew Brees play again? Them restricting his eligibility is harming Drew Brees' earning ability and is anti-competitive."

But seriously, any player in FBS can transfer to any team in FBS (for money which doesn't have to be reported) and play in the bowl game or playoff game. Am I getting that right?
