I really don't get what the problem was with this one . A tribute to a long time rival ? You all or heartless . He may not have coached OSU but he did coach against us and led a very colorful life but well liked and even loved by those who knew him . he was a big part of the Pac 10 and 12 . Nobody reads the posts in this section because many do not know that it exists and I am getting so tired of the " Oh he must be a troll since he doesnt post what we like or he posts in the wrong place . One of the reasons I became a Beaver over 40 years ago was that I was never made to feel like an outsider or an underdog . I saw Beaver fans who treated others with a lot more class and respect than another program I won't mention . Times have changed and so have a lot of you . I see so much back biting and trashing of each other on this board lately and much of it seems to have begun with the leaving of the other ten teams . There is a lot of bitterness , anger and self pity going on and your all taking it out on each other . There has always been some disagreements and low key sniping on this board but never as much as I have seen since the Pac fell apart and Smith left . You need to take a second and look at yourselves in the mirror . I am just as much a Beaver as any of you and I always will be . Maybe not in the way you like but I am and if you cannot accept that you can kiss my sorry ass . GO Beavers !

The Rotating Tap is for sports posts not directly tied to OSU football. You would've been fine if you would have posted this on the Rotating Tap. But, you can't seem to follow directions. |

Serious question though, prompted by your admonishment of people's posts on this board. Since the end of the regular season you have posted many times on different subjects, and while I don't agree with most, they are actually coherent thoughts and opinions. Why then during the season, on game days are you such an antagonizingly negative, doomsday wet blanket fan WITHOUT FAIL. Your non-stop critical ranting isn't even objective, and it contributes nothing. People were calling for you to be banned during one of the last couple of games! Why? I think your long time negative posting tone during games carries over to when you make a semi-normal post. I think people look at it and say "Oh, no. Here we go with Orangethunder again." Then even if you do have something to contribute you face an unnecessary uphill battle to have any impact. |

I always liked Mike Leach, maybe it was his demeanor although I never liked losing to him 😀. It was sad to see such a brilliant football mind go so early, but there are probably a lot of other reasons to rue his passing.
