Typical game for these two...and an odd coaching decision Army up 17-3 less than 3 minutes in the 4th. Navy gets a TD and goes for two? Odd decision...they missed it and are now down 8 rather than 7

Odd decision...they missed it and are now down 8 rather than 7 There are a ton of analytics that show that going for two down eight greatly improves your chances of victory. If you get it, you basically win with a second touchdown. If you miss, you are just a two-point conversion away from tying. Playing for overtime is generally an awful strategy, because it is several unlikely things just to set up a 50% shot at winning.

The odds of missing two two-point conversions is extremely low.
